Terms of Service

1. Who We Are

Nkubs ("we," "us," "our") operates an educational technology platform providing CBT exam preparation (JAMB, WAEC, NECO) and a university course/past-question hub, accessible via web and mobile.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and verify your email address before full account access is granted.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• Instructor, Manager, Admin, and Prep QA roles are subject to additional review/appointment processes as described within the platform.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Course and exam-prep access is provided through paid subscriptions, billed at the timeframe you select (3-Month, 6-Month, or Yearly).
• Payments are processed via Paystack. You may either fund a Deposit Wallet in advance or pay directly by card at checkout.
• Subscriptions do not renew automatically. You will be notified before your subscription expires and must manually renew to maintain access.
• Refunds: a subscription is refundable within 24 hours of purchase, provided you have not used the course material — no exam attempts, no course file views, and no AI Tutor requests tied to that subscription. Refund requests are reviewed by Admin (never processed automatically) and are typically decided within 7 days. If you paid by card, an approved refund is issued back to your original payment method; if you paid from your Deposit Wallet, the refund is credited back to that wallet.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

• Course materials, past questions, and exam content are the property of Nkubs, the contributing Instructor, or their original source, and are provided for your personal study use only.
• You may not copy, redistribute, screenshot for redistribution, or share your account access with others. Content is watermarked and access-logged to protect against unauthorized distribution.
• Uploaded content is reviewed before publication but Nkubs does not guarantee the complete accuracy of all crowdsourced material; report any errors via support@nkubs.com, Lagos, Nigeria.

5. Instructor, Manager & Prep QA Earnings

• Instructors, Managers, and Prep QAs earn a percentage of relevant subscription revenue as described in-platform. Revenue-split percentages may be adjusted by Nkubs at any time and apply prospectively only.
• Withdrawals require a minimum balance of ₦5,000 and a verified bank account, and are subject to review before disbursement.

6. Referrals

• Referral commissions are paid on genuine third-party referrals. Self-referral discounts are treated as a personal discount, not a growth incentive.
• Nkubs reserves the right to withhold or review payouts associated with suspected fraudulent referral activity.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: attempt to circumvent content protection measures; use automated tools to scrape or extract platform content; impersonate another user; or use the AI Tutor feature to attempt to extract copyrighted material verbatim.

8. AI-Generated Content

Explanations generated by the AI Tutor are provided for study assistance and may occasionally be inaccurate. Discrepancies are flagged internally for human review — always defer to your Instructor's or exam body's official materials as the authoritative source.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including content piracy, payment fraud, or abuse of the referral system.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Nkubs after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
